The Seven Levels of Creation Part IV
THE SEVEN LEVELS OF CREATION PART IV
Summary: This series of articles on The Seven Levels of Creation will demonstrate how the seven days of creation align to the seven dispensations, the dispensation patriarchs, the laws of God, and the rewards for overcoming each law. In Part IV, I will focus on the sixth day of creation and the symbols of this day. Additionally, the final three days align to the highest three orders of mankind that all comprise of the orders of dominion. In this article, I will begin to illustrate how the times and seasons leading up to Jesus Christ is represented by each of the top three orders of mankind in turn, beginning with the fifth order of mankind otherwise known as the Latter-day Saints. (Coincidentally,
The Book of Moses covers just the dispensations that align to these top three orders of mankind that all take place before the flood - coincidentally.)
The Book of Moses covers just the dispensations that align to these top three orders of mankind that all take place before the flood - coincidentally.)
Disclaimer: This article is not official doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, I do believe there are important truths and symbols in this article to gain a fuller understanding of the creation and how this understanding illuminates who we are on our eternal journey. Please pray before reading as the Spirit is the teacher of all truth. The Spirit may personalize any message, and I would rather the reader learn from the Spirit of Truth.
Introduction: This is the eleventh article dedicated to The Seven Levels of Mankind, and the fourth article of The Seven Levels of Creation. If you haven't read the first three articles, please start there:
Parts I and II cover the first four days of creation. In part III, I demonstrated how the symbols of the fifth day and the second day both link to the dispensation of Noah. The animals appear on the fifth day, and the Earth is covered in water on the second day. Easy. The fifth order of mankind is the first order of dominion and aligns to those whose central law is The Law of the Gospel. For those of you who are endowed, think of the name of the second token given in the Holy Temple. This token aligns to The Law of the Gospel as that is when said law is given during the endowment. At the end of this portion of the endowment, robes (used to) switch shoulders from the Aaronic to the Melchizedek just before entering the terrestrial world. Entering the millennium is entering the terrestrial world. This is not a coincidence. This is what is happening now and why we no longer wear the robes of Aaron during the endowment in my most humble opinion. The robes have switched shoulders - meaning that this time and season is coming to an end and the next time and season, The Gathering of Israel, is just beginning.
In the temple, we are anointed to become priests and priestesses, kings and queens, but we are expressly told we are not such yet. As bearers of the Aaronic and Melchizedek Priesthoods, how are we men not priests yet? On the sixth day, man is created. Dominion is given, and animals are named. What do these symbols mean? Why do all these symbols align to the dispensation of Enoch? It is my hope that answers to these questions along with many others will be provided in this article. Please, please pray that the Holy Spirit may be present and personalize this message to you. I pray for the same. Below is a review of the alignment of the days of creation (levels) to the rewards, patriarchs / dispensations, and laws.
Part A - The Sixth Day of Creation, The Law of Chastity, The Presence of the Father, and Enoch
I must first point out that the days of creation in the temple differ from the days of creation in Genesis and The Book of Moses. I plan on studying these differences and writing about them if I feel so prompted. Bear in mind while reading the verses below that there are some differences between the account in the scriptures and in the temple endowment, though I suspect some of the differences are intended for us to better focus while watching the endowment.
Moses 2:24 And I, God, said: Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beasts of the earth after their kind, and it was so;
25 And I, God, made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything which creepeth upon the earth after his kind; and I, God, saw that all these things were good.
26 And I, God, said unto mine Only Begotten, which was with me from the beginning: Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and it was so. And I, God, said: Let them have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 And I, God, created man in mine own image, in the image of mine Only Begotten created I him; male and female created I them.
28 And I, God, blessed them, and said unto them: Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And I, God, said unto man: Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in the which shall be the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creepeth upon the earth, wherein I grant life, there shall be given every clean herb for meat; and it was so, even as I spake.
31 And I, God, saw everything that I had made, and, behold, all things which I had made were very agood; and the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Day, Law, Reward, and Patriarch will be covered in Part A of this article. In Part B, we will expand our view to address implications beyond these four aspects. The law that aligns to the sixth day of creation is The Law of Chastity. This alignment from The Law of Chastity to the sixth day of creation can already be seen in the scripture above. Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. This is the first commandment given to mankind as far as the creation is concenred. Being fruitful, and multiplying, and replenishing the earth in a dignified manner is of course one of the central trials to this mortality. Sadly, this power and dominion which has been given to mankind is not being exercised in a responsible manner these days. How this power should be exercised is why The Law of Chastity aligns to the City of Enoch. We'll take a closer look at The Law of Chastity in a moment. Let's address the sixth reward of overcoming first.
Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make in a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: And I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new name.
Wow. I've read and quoted this verse more than any of the other of the eight rewards for overcoming because this is the promised reward that the Davidic Servant is receiving. In Revelation 12, the man child is caught up to God and his throne; this revelation points to the fulfillment of Yom Kippur, but I've already written many articles on this topic (see sidebar articles under the section titled "The Davidci Servant.") I will admit that this promised reward isn't overtly connected to The Law of Chastity or to the Sixth day of Creation - or, at least the connection is not obvious - certainly not at first glance. However, once we plug in the dispensation of Enoch, all will become clear.
How does the Law of Chastity align to the dispensation of Enoch you may ask? In the last article, I used the following image to illustrate how the laws given in the temple are a successive mastery of self:
The first three from Moses to Noah are obvious as to how the laws align to the dispensations and patriarchs. But what about The Law of Chastity? Well, "Thou shalt not commit adultery" was given in the lesser law of Moses. Jesus gave the higher Law of Chastity during his mortal ministry.
Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
The higher law is not one of actions alone but of thoughts. So, how does this higher law plug into the dispensation of Enoch?
Moses 7:18 And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of bone heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.
Ahhhh. How can we be of one heart and one mind if we are not obeying the Law of Chastity in our hearts and in our minds? You may be wondering how the Law of Chastity could possibly be above or beyond our time and season. Well, ask yourself this question: "How close are we to ZION right now?" If you pay attention to General Conference over the last 10-20 years, you'll notice just how many talks there are against pornography. Clearly this is something our church struggles with. Clearly, we are not of one mind if we can't refrain from watching pornograpy. However, I will suggest here the same thing I suggested about the souls being born during Moses' day. The Israelite descendants from the time of Moses were not cursed with the lesser law for 1500 years because their parents were worshipping a golden calf. They were assigned the lesser law because that's where they were on their eternal journey. Likewise, the Latter-day saints struggle with pornography because that's where we are on our eternal journey. I'm sure a reader or two will rage quit this article at this point, but remember the truth cutteth to the very center of the guilty.
Also consider that desires align to the Law of Sacrifice and thoughts to the Law of Chastity. Being of one heart and of one mind aligns to securing the Lesser Priesthood (desires / Law of Sacrifice) and exercising the Greater Priesthood (thoughts / Law of Chastity.) Even if you disagree with what I'm saying about the LDS being younger souls than those who have overcome the Law of Chastity, consider this as a possible reason as to why Polygamy was removed. Oops, I just lost a few more readers! :)
Let's return to the promised reward for overcoming before I lose any more readers. How does The Law of Chastity and mastery of thought align to the promised reward of overcoming? Please read the reward again with this question in mind:
Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make in a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: And I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new name.
Notice how names are given here - holy names. Doesn't it make sense our minds will have to be mastered and will have to become holy spaces in and of themselves before we can be entrusted with such sacred names that may themselves be tokens of access across the eternities? Could a person be entrusted with such a sacred name who could not control their thoughts?
In the temple, we are anointed to become priests but are expressly told we are not priests yet. I believe the 144,000 in revelation are in fact these priests who align to The Law of Chastity. In Revelation chapter 7, a seal is mentioned that is located in their foreheads. A seal in the forehead could signify a promise in place that is unopened (aka sealed - like having the father's name in a sealed envelope ... in your forehead.) Notice how much of the description of the 144,000 in Revelation chapter 14 aligns to the Law of Chastity, self mastery, and the sixth reward of overcoming:
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no aguile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
In chapter 7, the name of God is sealed. In chapter 14, which is clearly later in the chronology of end-times events, the name of the Father is now written. This may be an allusion to the sixth promise of overcoming where the name of the Father and the new name of the Son is given (and what is the new name of the Son if not His new name as one who has joined the order of Elohim?) Notice how they are described as virgins. Clearly, they are not virgins or they would have no dominion, yet their minds are virgin - or pure and undefiled. This is what "not defiled with women" means. One who keeps The Law of Chastity and is married is "not defiled with women." Verse 5 makes reference to their mastery of words as well, which is one level down. So, from chapter 7 where the angel declares that heaven must wait until the 144,000 are sealed to chapter 14 where the promised name of the Father is given (or at least what is sealed is specified,) we see that the 144,000 are redeemed and are the firstfruits. The first redeemed men. How does that aligned to the sixth day of creation when the first man is ... created oh wait. That's how! ;)
Also, notice how they follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. Remember from Part III of this series, that the reward for overcoming level 5 is the presence of the Son.
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
A distance from the Father is also implied. In the sixth promise of overcoming (Revelation 3:12,) the name of the Father is given, which implies knowing the Father. Consider for a moment that Peter, James, and John are at the veil in the temple presenting us to Jesus Christ. That is the reward for level 5, and our temple endowment is presently aligned to the 5th order of mankind imho. Now, who introduces us to the Father if not the Patriarchs themselves. Peter, a patriarch, presents James and John, who are priests / level six, to the Father at the mount of transfiguration, yet the Father is clouded / veiled because James and John have not yet received the reward exclusive to level seven beings.
What about Enoch? If this understanding is correct, only the seven the patriarchs have access to the Father. Even James and John could not behold the Father as Joseph Smith did.
Moses 7:23 And after that Zion was taken up into heaven, Enoch beheld, and lo, call the nations of the earth were before him;
24 And there came generation upon generation; and Enoch was high and lifted up, even in the bosom of the Father, and of the Son of Man; and behold, the power of Satan was upon all the face of the earth.
So, after ZION / The City of Enoch was lifted off the Earth, Enoch - not the City but Enoch himself - was high, and lifted up, even in the bosom of the father. These verses in Moses 7 are a foreshadowing of end times events. In fact, the sixth promise of overcoming ties the dispensation of Enoch to the end times events as it refers to the New Jerusalem which which cometh down out of heaven from my God. At the very least, Adam, Enoch, and Joseph Smith have beheld the Father who was veiled from James and John. James and John are the priests and Adam, Enoch, and Joseph Smith are kings (princes) to which we are anointed to become. The priests have direct access to the Son. The kings have access to the Father. Brigham Young affirms the parallel authority of the dispensation patriarchs:
“the Holy Order that God has established for his people in all ages of the world when he has had a kingdom on the earth. We may call it the Order of Enoch, the Order of Joseph, the Order of Peter, or Abraham, or Moses, and then go back to Noah …” ~ Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 17:113
The kings present the priests to the father just as the priests present us to the Son. The sixth promise of overcoming includes the unveiling of the Father's presence. This is what the mount of transfiguration foreshadows. James and John were present, along with Peter, at many exclusive events in the New Testament - events from which the other apostles were excluded. This implies that there is a progression system within the order of priests. More on this in the next section.
One final point that ties Enoch to the sixth day of creation: Enoch gathered the righteous and built ZION which is a community defined as being of one heart and one mind. The Law of Chastity is the higher law and represents mastery of thought - making the mind a holy place wherein the name of the Father and the new name of the Son may dwell. Dominion is part of the sixth day. Though dominion is implied with Enoch's building of the city that bears his name, the apocrypha suggest Enoch was actually a King.
“And they assembled in all, one hundred and thirty kings and princes, and they made Enoch king over them and they were all under his power and command.” Book of Jasher 3:5–10
So, Enoch receives his dominion by gathering the righteous and facilitating a community that is defined by their being of one heart and one mind. That kingdom is then lifted up wherein Enoch is then received into the Bosom of the Father. All of this foreshadows end times events where ZION is built again by the Lord's servant. Upon the successful gathering of the righteousness and establishment of ZION by the Davidic Servant, Enoch and his city then descend out of heaven and join this new ZION - together they are called the New Jerusalem.
Moses 7:62 And righteousness will I send down out of heaven; and truth will I send forth out of the earth, to bear testimony of mine Only Begotten; his resurrection from the dead; yea, and also the resurrection of all men; and righteousness and truth will I cause to sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out mine elect from the four quarters of the earth, unto a place which I shall prepare, an Holy City, that my people may gird up their loins, and be looking forth for the time of my coming; for there shall be my tabernacle, and it shall be called Zion, a New Jerusalem.
63 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Then shalt thou and all thy acity meet them there, and we will breceive them into our bosom, and they shall see us; and we will fall upon their necks, and they shall fall upon our necks, and we will kiss each other;
Righteousness and Truth sweep the earth and gather the elect and build ZION. Righteousness and Truth are not just intangible powers but people, and may in fact be key words for the two witnessess. In fact, righteousness may be the most widely used key word for the Davidic Servant throughout primarily the Old Testament, but all throughout the scriptures including Moses 7 above. The Davidic Servant is the "Enoch" of the end times after all. He comes from the sixth order - or the order of the priests. He is the priest who is becoming a king.
Zechariah 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
Just as Enoch built a holy city, so will the Davidic Servant build the temple of the Lord and shall be a priest upon his throne. In the next section, we will take a look at the deeper symbols that reinforce this alignment of the sixth day of creation to the sixth order of mankind and the respective laws and rewards.
Part B - The Animals, The Seraphim, and Seeing
In the prior article, I suggested that perhaps the animals on Noah's ark and the animals on the fifth day of creation may represent the gentiles. The second day aligns to the second order of mankind - the gentiles - and to the Law of Repentance. Noah's gathering the animals against the world-ending flood, and the flood reverting the world to the second day of creation where there was only water all symbolically point to the Gospel going to the gentiles by the fifth order of mankind who I believe is represented by the bloodline of Ephraim.
3 Nephi 21:6 For thus it behooveth the Father that it should come forth from the Gentiles, that he may show forth his power unto the Gentiles, for this cause that the Gentiles, if they will not harden their hearts, that they may repent and come unto me and be baptized in my name and know of the true points of my doctrine, that they may be numbered among my people, O house of Israel;
There is the law that aligns to the gentiles - repentance. 3 Nephi 20 and 21 tie a lot of these symbols together--this is where the Lord quotes Isaiah, and verses regarding the Davidic Servant, and then expounds upon them. That expoudning by the Lord includes the Gospel to the gentiles, and the gathering of Israel. Let's continue with the animals = the gentiles symbolism and bring this into the sixth day of creation. Now, Adam does not name the animals on the sixth day of creation; however dominion over said animals is given to him on the sixth day of creation. After the seventh day, but before Eve is created, Adam then names the animals.
Moses 3:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but as for Adam, there was not found an help meet for him.
What may this symbolize in the end times. First, I suggest there is only one way to join Israel - through baptism. Every Israelite born into Israel in this world must have joined Israel the same way gentiles join Israel in this world. Think on this for a moment. In the last days, a new King and a new Dominion is given. New covenants are made, and those who join Israel are now bound to this new King - and that King gives unto them a new name.
Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
The mouth of the Lord is one of the many names of the Davidic Servant who is the Angel of the Lord. Ezekiel 37 and Jeremiah 31 both refer to this new covenant made with the Davidic Servant and Israel. Jeremiah 31 even references "the ordinances of the moon" which is a symbol that draws back to the creation where the moon is the lesser light / lesser God / lesser Priesthood. In one of the servant songs of Isaiah, the Lord tells His servant that he is a light to gentiles in addition to restoring the tribes of Jacob.
Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a alight to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
The gentiles, along with Israel, receive a new name by the Davidic Servant whose dominion is established during the chiasmatic unfolding of the end times events which is all symbolized by the sixth day of creation.
Have a look at the timeline above from the prior articles. The fifth order of mankind brings the gospel to the gentiles, and, as covered in the prior article, this aligns to the dispensation of Noah and to the fifth and second days of creation. The animals who are gathered represent the gentiles. In Genesis, and in the Book of Moses, the fifth day includes the creation of sea creatures only. Land animals are created on the sixth day along with man. Perhaps this division of animals represent the gentiles (sea) and Israel (land.) The curses of the land and sea are inverted along with these other inversions. In the begining the land is cursed, but at the end the sea is cursed and the land is blessed. In either case, whether gentiles or the remnant of Israel - both become Israel by the new covenant. I suspect where these animals (lol) are on their eternal journey will define the convenants that are made, including a central covenant that aligns to the dispensations and levels of mankind as in the image above.
Once the Time of the Gospel to the Gentiles comes to an end, the Gathering of Israel begins. During this time, ZION is built again where the righteous must again become of one heart and one mind.
3 Nephi 21:1 And verily I say unto you, I give unto you a asign, that ye may know the btime when these things shall be about to take place—that I shall gather in, from their long dispersion, my people, O house of Israel, and shall establish again among them my Zion;
This is the time and season that points back to the sixth day of creation and to the dispensation of Enoch. The seraphim - the 144,000 - will stand up and administer the gospel to the world and gather the elec to ZION.
“And now, I ask, how righteousness and truth are going to sweep the earth as with a flood? I will answer. Men and angels are to be co-workers in bringing to pass this great work, and Zion is to be prepared, even a new Jerusalem, for the elect that are to be gathered from the four quarters of the earth, and to be established an holy city” (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith)
Perhaps most importantly, the chief of the order of priests will fulfill Yom Kippur and become a King - just as Enoch typified this gathering, dominion, and kingdom during his dispensation. This link to the order of serpahim, level 6, the high priests, is clear both in the apocryphal Book of Enoch (1 Enoch) as well as modern revelation regarding Enoch. Compare the verses below.
Enoch 39:6 And in that place my eyes saw the Elect One of righteousness and of faith,
7 And I saw his dwelling-place under the wings of the Lord of spirits.
9 And all the righteous and elect ones before Him shall be as bright as fiery lights, and their mouth shall be full of blessing, and their lips shall praise the name of the Lord of spirits. Righteousness and truth before Him shall never fail.
10 There I wished to dwell, and my spirit longed for that dwellingplace; and thus it was decided and my portion was assigned and established by the Lord of spirits.
14 Those who do not sleep bless you, they stand before your glory and bless, praise, and exalt you, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of spirits: He fills the earth with spirits.
---
Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
9 ¶ And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
---
Moses 6:27 And he heard a voice from heaven, saying: Enoch, my son, prophesy unto this people, and say unto them—Repent, for thus saith the Lord: I am angry with this people, and my fierce anger is kindled against them; for their hearts have waxed hard, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes cannot see afar off;
---
Matthew 13:14 And in them (those who listen to Jesus but don't hear / understand) is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
Notice how all these scriptures connect. The word seraphim means "burning ones" or "fiery ones." Isaiah 6 connects to Enoch 39 not only by the meaning of the term seraphim but also by the anthem of the seraphim - "thrice holy." Isaiah 6 connects to the dispensation of Enoch in modern revelation for the Lord gives the same command to Enoch as he does Isaiah. So, Isaiah 6 connects to both modern scripture and to the apocryphal 1 Enoch. Moreover, Isaiah 6 connects to the identity of the Apostles - who are absolutely of this order or class of mankind. Six wings for the sixth level of mankind which connects to the sixth day of creation - surely a coincidence. Wait, how many sixes was that? Let's see, one .. two.. uh oh. 666. Perhaps this is the order from whence came Lucifer or the devil. "To go no more out" is after all the uncollected reward promised to level six beings upon overcoming. This is the highest level from whence one may fall imho. Perhaps the strongest link from Enoch to the seraphim is given here, where Enoch stops and reveals his desire to be with this class of mankind, and "thus it was decided and my portion was assigned."
I must mention briefly the chakras again. The sixth chakra is the third eye which is represented, uncoincidentally, by the Eye of Horus in the facsimiles. The third eye chakra aligns to the pineal gland, which is a gland in the brain that is attached to the optical nerve. This is very likely where visions occur. This chakra, or spiritual center, is not only the chakra of seeing but understanding. Seeing and understanding are both part of what the Lord says to Isaiah, to Enoch, and to the Apostles in describing the sixth order of mankind - the order over which Enoch desired to reign as one of the seven patriarchs. Truly seeing and understanding is exclusive to this level and is something expressly witheld from the lower orders of mankind, including the fifth order. I just lost a few more readers. Whoopsie!
Moses 6:35 And the Lord spake unto Enoch, and said unto him: Anoint thine eyes with clay, and wash them, and thou shalt see. And he did so.
36 And he beheld the aspirits that God had created; and he beheld also things which were not visible to the bnatural eye; and from thenceforth came the saying abroad in the land: A cseer hath the Lord raised up unto his people.
Finally, let's take a look at one more deeper symbol of the sixth day of creation. Man is created. Consider for a moment that understanding who the Davidic Servant is, and who he is on his eternal journey, is to understand that moment when a man becomes a God. Righteouenss, not perfection, is the key word of the Davidic Servant. A verse in Isaiah comes to mind which I believe references both the Greater God and the Lesser. From the servant songs of Isaiah:
Isaiah 42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant?
"He that is perfect," is Jesus Christ. "The Lord's servant," is, well, the servant of the servant songs of Isaiah - The Davidic Servant. I believe Isaiah 42:19 is referencing the fact that both the Lesser God and the Greater God are subject to the veil. Remember the order of ascension is mastery of action, desire, words, and thoughts - the very laws given in the temple align to this:
Having mastered his thoughts, the Davidic Servant has earned the title Righteousness. The title Righteousness tells us exactly who he is and where he is on his eternal journey. Perfect? No. Holy? Yes. He has joined this order to which the Lord referred when He said:
D&C 49:8 Wherefore, I will that all men shall repent, for all are under sin, except those which I have reserved unto myself, holy men that ye know not of.
The unfulfilled fall festivals point to this achievement. Yom Kippur is not just about reconciling Israel to their God, but is about this man who will reconcile them as he approaches the throne of the Father, having the Fathers name revealed to him. The crown that is worn by the High Priest of Israel which reads, "Holiness to the Lord" is the crown worn by the priest who sits upon the throne as referenced by Zechariah. This is the Lesser God - the Lesser Light which rules the night whose identity has been hidden in that darkness of night. His power and glory is given to him by the Greater Light.
When does this happen? Remember, the unfolding of the trumpets is a chiasmus of the dispensations:
Dispensations / Level of Mankind 7654321 - 1234567 Trumpets
The timeline image above shows how levels 567, which are the ruling orders of mankind, oversee the Gospel to the Gentiles, the Gathering of Israel, and The Consecration of the World at Adam-Ondi-Ahman. So, when does the Davidic Servant ascend to God's throne, receiving the sixth promised reward of overcoming? This happens just before the seventh trumpet is sounded. So, this happens after the sixth trumpet but before the seventh. I believe the Davidic Servant is one of the two witnesses, and all of this (article) explains why this happens when it happens. Have a read of Revelation 11 with all of this in mind. Remember, Revelation 11 links both to the "Elect One" of 1 Enoch and to the Rod of Isaiah 11. Wow, lot's of 1s there.
Revelation 11:3 And I will give apower unto my two bwitnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall dreign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which bdestroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Of course, the Ark of the Covenant is central to Yom Kippur where the High Priest of Israel sprinkles the blood of the sacrifices upon the mercy seat. The mentioning of the Ark here very likely suggests the fulfillment of Yom Kippur. The two witnesses are baptized with the same baptism of the Lord Jesus Christ as they are martyred and are dead for the Jonah-esque duration of 3.5 days. They resurrect and ascend. Same baptism.
What is extremely significant is here - at the end of the time of the sixth trumpet - is when the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Christ, or anointed / chosen one, The Davidic Servant. This is the fulfilment of all those scriptures in the Old Testament that speak of the Davidic Servant who "shall be" a prince forever over Israel - Ezekiel 37 is the prime example.
The Greater God and the Lesser God - think on the importance of who these men are given the statement in Revelation 11:17 - we give thee thanks, O Lord God Almight, which art, and was, and art to come. We give thanks to the God who was, the God who is, and the God who is to come. In Revelation 11, the Davidic Servant has just transitioned from being a man to becoming a God by making himself holy through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Holiness to the Lord is the inscription upon the crown of the High Priest of Israel.
As the time of the Gathering of Israel comes to an end and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ ushers in the millennium, the symbolism of moving from the sixth day of creation to the seventh is maintained. Consider again in the prior article how the second day of creation is represented by the flood. Day 5 and Day 2 point to the fifth level of mankind bringing the Gospel to the second order, the Gentiles. Likewise, these symbols are intact again where the sixth order of mankind is juxtaposed over the third, which is where the order Israel begins:
D&C 133:18 When the Lamb shall stand upon Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having his Father’s name written on their foreheads.
19 Wherefore, prepare ye for the coming of the Bridegroom; go ye, go ye out to meet him.
20 For behold, he shall stand upon the mount of Olivet, and upon the mighty ocean, even the great deep, and upon the islands of the sea, and upon the land of Zion.
21 And he shall autter his voice out of Zion, and he shall speak from Jerusalem, and his voice shall be heard among all people;
22 And it shall be a voice as the avoice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder, which shall break down the mountains, and the valleys shall not be found.
23 He shall command the great deep, and it shall be driven back into the north countries, and the islands shall become one land;
In the verses above, ZION has been established again yet the wedding of the bridegroom has not yet occurred. So before the wedding of the bridegroom, the islands shall become one land, just as the Earth was on the third day of creation. And just as in the sixth day of creation, the full measure of man arises in the Davidic Servant. In the sixth day of creation, man is created in an immortal state. Again, during this time that aligns to the sixth day of creation and to the sixth order of mankind, man will be joined by the translated / immortal saints of the City of Enoch.
Theses symbols that link together the sixth day of creation, Enoch, the sixth reward of overcoming, and the Law of Chastity are all over the ~ 2 chapters we have on Enoch in the Book of Moses. Here's another link from The Book of Moses to the sixth reward of overcoming that promises the name of the Father and the new name of the Son.
Moses 6:57 Wherefore teach it unto your children, that all men, everywhere, must repent, or they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God, for no unclean thing can dwell there, or dwell in his dpresence; for, in the language of Adam, Man of Holiness is his name, and the name of his Only Begotten is the Son of Man, even Jesus Christ, a righteous Judge, who shall come in the meridian of time.
Of course, these aren't the names of the Father and of the Son - but the allusion to this sixth reward is made. The comforter (who is the lesser God / Davidic Servant) is mentioned in verse 61 and how he has the power over life and resurrection. In verse 63 the Lord reveals that all things have their likeness in the heavens above and in the Earth beneath which is a reference to the symbols built into the creation (such as the days of creation themselves) that can only be seen by those who have eyes to see! Verses 66-68 mention the order of Melchizedek which is the order of the Priests of the sixth order of mankind.This process of becoming the sons of God continues into chapter 7. And on and on these links continue, many of which have already been established in this article. Even the Davidic line is mentioned, which is another sure nail that fastens this understanding:
Moses 7:53 And the Lord said: Blessed is he through whose seed Messiah shall come; for he saith—I am Messiah, the King of Zion, the Rock of Heaven, which is broad as deternity; whoso cometh in at the gate and climbeth up by me shall never fall; wherefore, blessed are they of whom I have spoken, for they shall come forth with songs of everlasting joy.
The gate of Jesus Christ is demonstrated in the timeline presented earlier in this Gospel which explains why the time of the gentiles happens near the end of the world and why the first and the last are inverted. I'm repeating myself quite a bit at this point, but the effect of the illumination of these symbols upon my soul are truly amazing. In the next article, I will cover the seventh and final day of creation and align this day to the patriarch Adam, the Law of Consecration, and the reward of eternal Godhood.
Level 4 is the Levites becoming priests of the Lesser Priesthood. Level 5 is Ephraim becoming priests of the Greater Priesthood. Level 6 is priests of the Greater Priesthood becoming princes / kings. Level 7 is princes / kings becoming Saviors. Level 8 is Saviors becoming Elohim. In the next, and perhaps final, article in this series, I will address the 7th day of creation and how the 7th day aligns to the Law of Consecration, The Patriarch Adam, and the reward of becoming a Son of God.
Excelent yet again Alaris, you didn't lose me at all for all 3 times (coincidence? Think not) :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if you can answer this here: Do you think that in each mortal probation, everyone goes through every level up to the level they are?
So, for example if a lvl 5 is born at this time (needing to overcome the Law of the Gospel), would this person also first go through every stage again, being tested somewhat?
But as they had already overcome that part, they will not struggle as much with the challenges of lvl 1-4?
Even Jesus Christ went from Line upon Line, Precept upon Precept in His mortal life, so... I might have answered my own question here :D
Anyway, love to have your thoughts on this.
Thanks again for a great article!
