The Seven Levels of Creation Part V

THE SEVEN LEVELS OF CREATION PART V

Summary: This series of articles on The Seven Levels of Creation will demonstrate how the seven days of creation align to the seven dispensations, the dispensation patriarchs, the laws of God, and the rewards for overcoming each law. In Part V, I will focus on the seventh day of creation and the symbols of this day. In this article, I will continue Part IV's alignment to the seven trumps of revelation. This will be the shortest article in the series because, well the seventh day is the day of rest!

Disclaimer: This article is not official doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, I do believe there are important truths and symbols in this article to gain a fuller understanding of the creation and how this understanding illuminates who we are on our eternal journey. Please pray before reading as the Spirit is the teacher of all truth. The Spirit may personalize any message, and I would rather the reader learn from the Spirit of Truth.

Introduction: This is the twelfth article dedicated to The Seven Levels of Mankind, and the fifth article of The Seven Levels of Creation. If you haven't read the first four articles, please start there:

Moses 3:2 And on the seventh day I, God, ended my work, and all things which I had made; and I rested on the seventh day from all my work, and all things which I had made were finished, and I, God, saw that they were good;
3 And I, God, blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it; because that in it I had rested from all my work which I, God, had created and made.
4 And now, behold, I say unto you, that these are the generations of the heaven and of the earth, when they were created, in the day that I, the Lord God, made the heaven and the earth,

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Hrm ... with those two scriptures side-by-side, seeing the link between the two is clear. Sit with God on his throne on the seventh day.

As I began to plan these articles, I wrote an outline for all seven days. The seventh day has the fewest notes. God rests. Millennium. Earth rests. Adam walks with God on the seventh day. Adam walks with God again on the Earth at the onset of the millennium - the seventh thousand years of this world's temporal existence. Yet, once we plug in the law of consecration, and almost more importantly, the sixth day of creation, suddenly the seventh day takes on even more meaning. Part A will align the day, promise, patriarch, and reward as I have in prior articles. In Part B, the extended symbols of these alignments will be considered.

Part A - The Seventh Day of Creation, The Law of Consecration, Joint Heir-ship, and Adam

The seventh promise of overcoming is an anomaly. The promised reward is another trial.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Sit with me in my throne and overcome as I overcame. This is true joint-heirship. Many, if not most, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe this joint-heirship to mean that we inherit with Jesus Christ all that He inherits without doing the works of the Father and the Son. Yet this promised reward contains the answer in a pure, simple, and beautiful form. Overcome and you will overcome as I overcame. Overcome as I overcame could not be any more clear--overcome as Jesus overcame. It means what it means and says what it says. What does Jesus overcome? He overcomes spiritual death and physical death by descending below all things and ascending above all things. But, what does that first "overcome" mean? What must be overcome to attain the reward to overcome as Jesus overcame? Since there is no eighth day of creation, I will include the eighth reward given in Revelation that is given near the end of the book.

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

That sounds a lot like what Jesus received, doesn't it? All things. So, overcome as Jesus overcame and receive all things. Is this a freebie? Absolutely not. Descend below all and receive all. Simple.

What does this all have to do with Adam of all people? Brothers, picture yourselves as Adam. Watch as Adam goes through these steps. Be like Adam and do his works. Overcome as Adam overcame, and then overcome as Jesus Christ overcame. This is essentially the message of the temple endowment. The message is the same for women. Becoming Adam is a step on the path to Godhood. So is becoming Eve.

Many of the sisters grieve because they are not blessed with offspring. You will see the time when you will have millions of children around you. If you are faithful to your covenants, you will become mothers of nations. You will become Eves to earths like this; and when you have assisted in peopling one earth there are millions of earths still in the course of creation. (Journal of Discourses, 8:208; October 14, 1860)

The Law of Consecration is the final law given in the Holy Temple that aligns to the final sign and token. This law basically means that possessions and talents are dedicated towards the building up the Kingdom of God.

How does the Law of Consecration come into play with Adam? Whether you believe in multiple mortal probations or not, I think we can all agree on the fact that Adam earned his dominion (MMP vs he just earned it in the premortal spirit world.) We know that Adam and Eve were given dominion over the world in the creation story as well. So the world belonged to Adam and Eve, and the decision to partake of the fruit by Adam was deliberate (think of what he says in the temple endowment before partaking.) He fell that man may be. Adam consecrated his world, his immortality, and his body that man may come into being upon this world and this world may be used to bring about their immortality and eternal life.

2 Nephi 2:25 Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.

Moses 1:39 For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

The Law of Consecration is easy to see given this context. This was Adam's and Eve's world alone. They consecrated this world for our use - for bringing to pass our immortality and eternal life by partaking of the forbidden fruit and taking upon themselves the curses of mortality. They died so we could live (and die .. and live again.)

Part B - "Thus All May Become my Sons"

Day 6 is becoming a joint inheritor. Day 7 is the day of joint inheritance. Let's take a deeper look at these symbols and see how the days of creation can help solidify the sequence of the end time events.

After the sixth trump is sounded in Revelation 9, the events unfold where the Davidic Servant transitions from being a conditional servant to an unconditional inheritor, and his dominion is secured which points back to the sixth day of creation. The two witnesses, one of whom is the Davidic Servant, lie dead for 3.5 days, resurrect, and ascend to heaven. Then, immediately the seventh trump sounds. Let's take a closer look at these events and see how the days of creation can help add a deeper layer of understanding to these important end times happenings. Let's start with Revelation 11. Remember, Revelation 9 - 11 contain the events of the sixth trumpet, leading up to the seventh trumpet which sounds in verse 15 of Revelation 11.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

The ark is seen in heaven in the final verse of this chapter which indicates the fulfillment of Yom Kippur - those Fall festivals that align to the months that align to the Aaronic Priesthood / Western towers of the SLC temple. The Spring festivals align to the Melchizedek towers. So, the lesser God fulfilling Yom Kippur in the fall festivals makes perfect sense. The symbols that point to why things happen and in what order, etc. help inform on sequence. Let's confirm the identity of the seventh angel. Remember, in these articles on The Seven Levels of Creation, we have already established that the end times are playing out in alignment to the days of creation, so the 7th angel would be Adam / Michael, right?

D&C 88:112 And Michael, the seventh angel, even the archangel, shall gather together his armies, even the hosts of heaven.

Well, that was easy! There is an important end-times event that most LDS are aware of, though there is some confusion as to when this event occurs and what happens during this event.

D&C 116:1 Spring Hill is named by the Lord Adam-ondi-Ahman, because, said he, it is the place where Adam shall come to visit his people, or the Ancient of Days shall sit, as spoken of by Daniel the prophet.

Though there is no footnote here for Daniel, the book Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith contains the above verse and aligns D&C 116:1 to Daniel 7:9-14:

Daniel 7:9 ¶ I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with
the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Can you see how Daniel 7:9-14 and the events of Adam-Ondi-Ahman align perfectly with Revelation 11? Let's break it down. Compare Daniel 7:9 to Revelation 11:15. The latter reads, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. The former reads I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and then the Ancient of days did Sit. Do you see how this aligns perfectly to Revelation 11 where the kingdoms of the world are declared subjugated to the Lord and his Christ as the seventh angel sounds? 1:1 match. Moving on...

Daniel 9:13-14 speak of "one like the Son of man" who comes "with the clouds of heaven." He comes to the Ancient of days and "they brought him near before him." This clearly is not Jesus Christ for the greater is not brought before the lesser. The Davidic Servant / Holy Ghost who is from the sixth spiritual level of mankind is brought before Adam who is the chief of the seventh spiritual level of mankind to join Adam's order. Then, Adam bestows upon the Davidic Servant dominion, glory, and a kingdom. Adam would not bestow these things upon Jesus Christ - this would make zero sense.

The more you think about this the more it makes sense. The two witnesses partake of the baptism with which Jesus was baptized when they are martyred for their testimony, are dead for 3.5 days, and ascend to heaven. Having just ascended to heaven, the servant is brought to Adam to receive his dominion - a probation that was sealed by his ministry, death and resurrection just as Jesus' new dominion was sealed by his ministry, death, and resurrection. The lesser ascension mirrors the greater.

Ezekiel 37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Remember, Michael is the chief prince. The scriptures - Isaiah, Jeremiah, Moses, D&C, Abraham, Daniel, etc. - are telling us a story about how a man becomes a God. It's been there hiding in plain sight all along. The days of creation reinforce this understanding. Dominion is earned at the sixth order of mankind - the priests. The fullness is received at the seventh - joint heirship. Sit with Christ in His throne. The kings (princes are kings in the making.) Compare these two quotes.

Abraham's Patriarchal power, which is the greatest yet experienced in this church. That of Melchisedec, who had still greater power even power of an endless life of which was our Lord Jesus Christ which also Abraham obtained by the offering of his son Isaac, which was not the power of a Prophet nor apostle nor Patriarch only but of King & Priest to God to open the windows of Heaven and pour out the peace & Law of endless Life to man & No man can attain to the Joint heirship with Jesus Christ with out being administered to by one having the same power & Authority of Melchisedec. Joseph also said that the Holy Ghost is now in a state of Probation which if he should perform in righteousness he may pass through the same or a similar course of things that the Son has. ~ Joseph Smith August, 27 1843

"If any in the church [have] the fullness of the Melchizedek Priesthood [I do] not know it. For any person to have the fullness of that priesthood, he must be a king and priest." ~ Brigham Young

The Rod of Jesse, the servant of the servant songs of Isaiah, the comforter, the Angel of the Lord - all these types and symbols are all hiding in plain sight and yet demonstrate clearly that the Lord's passion is not to glorify Himself at the end of this world but to glorify a new joint inheritor who receives the fullness of the Priesthood and an eternal Kingdom. The tie back to day seven is clearly this is the day we walk with God as joint inheritors.

Conclusion

To close out this article, and this series, below are some amazing scriptures that reinforce the fact that the Davidic Servant is joining this seventh order of mankind which aligns both to the seventh day of creation where man walks with God and to the seventh promise of overcoming where man becomes a joint inheritor with Jesus Christ.

Zechariah 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Compare the above scripture to what Brigham Young and Joseph Smith said about being both a King and Priest. The seventh promise of overcoming also states "sit and rule" just as Zechariah 6:13.

Jeremiah 31:5 ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Righteousness is one of the, if not the, most commonly used titles for the Davidic Servant. In this scripture, the scope of this dominion and power is explained - justice and judgement in the earth.  Judgement is probably the next most commonly used key word that aligns to the Davidic Servant. Verse 6 aligns this King to the gathering of Israel and restoration of the ten tribes.

Ezekiel 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

The gathering of Israel is again aligned to the Davidic Servant and his kingdom. The duration of his kingdom is expressed here in these verses as, "forever." The tabernacle is mentioned with aligns to the fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles, which is the final fall festival that is as of yet unfulfilled. All of this ties back to the seventh day of creation and the seventh promise of overcoming - to sit upon a throne and rule with the Lord. If the Davidic Servant is new to you, I highly recommend reading my article An Introduction to the Davidic Servant. Joseph Smith and the early saints clearly believed in a future King David who would rule under Jesus Christ's reign.

  1. Alaris, beautifully explained! You quote Zechariah 6:12. What do you think the phrase "and he shall grow up out of his place" means?

    1. Perhaps Zechariah 6:12 aligns to the servant song of Isaiah 41. 2 Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.

Perhaps there is a spiritual growth meaning to growing up out of his place. Roots, rods (shoots,) etc all are common metaphors as well.

Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

IIRC, Abraham Gileadi believes Isaiah 53 includes the servant as participant in the Davidic Covenant. Verse 2 seems to refer to the arm of the Lord who is the servant. If this meaning aligns to Zechariah then perhaps the servant will grow out of his place from being an every guy to becoming a mighty king just as the original David went from being a sheep herder to becoming king of Israel.

  2. Alaris, thank you for your comment to me above. Gileadi has suggested that it means the Davidic Servant is a member of our Church. What do you think?

    1. I agree. He is from Ephraim and Jesse per D&C 113 and early in his ministry he preaches to Ephraim who is not ready to receive him per Isaiah 28.

  3. How do you think the leaders of the Church will receive him? I think as Christ was received by the Pharisees and Sadducees. What is your take on that?

    1. Avraham Gileadi has stated his belief that the Davidic Servant will be anointed by our prophet as David was anointed by Samuel. I don't disagree necessarily. However if David is a type then the servant could also be rejected and persecuted as David was by Saul. Who is Saul in our day? I don't know.

I personally believe President Nelson is aware of the servant and his recent talk on receiving revelation tells me to read between the lines. His wife said recently that she wishes she could tell everything she knew just by being married to the prophet (iirc.) I believe she knows too! However events can change our world drastically in a short amount of time. Compare Isaiah 66 to Revelation 12. Isaiah 66 refers to ZION being born in a day. In Revelation 12 the man child represents both the king and the kingdom. Does this happen all at once? In one day?

The woman represents the church. What does her being in the wilderness mean? Does the church leave as the kingdom is born?

Compare jst Matthew 24 to jst Luke 17.

37 And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is gathered, or in other words, whithersoever the saints are gathered, thither will the eagles be gathered together, or thither will the remainder be gathered together.
38 This he spake, signifying the gathering of his saints, and of angels descending and gathering the remainder unto them, the one from the bed, the other from the grinding, and the other from the field, whithersoever he listeth.

Are the angels the midwives who help birth the kingdom all at once?

  4. Davidic servant is Raphael which is the third archangel. Michael or Adam is the head arch angel and the Holey Ghost

  5. You have 7 archangels Michael (Adam) Gabriel (Noah) Raphael (Servant) Urieall(Joeseph Smith jr)
Joesph Smith jr is also the root the ensign is the church. The servant is the rod and his group is a portion of the churcn that will follow him at the day of seperation of wheat and tales
